About

The Alabama Association of College Teachers of Mathematics is an organization devoted to increasing communication and cooperation among college and university mathematics faculty throughout Alabama. The main activity of AACTM are an annual conference that is a mixture of talks and forums about mathematics and mathematics education that also includes the annual Lewis-Parker Lecture. The organization also helps sponsor the Alabama Journal of Mathematics.

68th Annual Meeting in Jacksonville February 3, 2018

The 68th Annual Meeting of the AACTM (Alabama Association of College Teachers of Mathematics) will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Jacksonville State University. All mathematics teachers are welcome to attend the meeting where we will share mathematical and pedagogical talks, along with discussions about mathematics in Alabama. The featured Lewis-Parker lecturer will be announced shortly. Registration will begin around 8:15am with talks scheduled to begin at 9:00am (these times are tentative).
